A suicide bomber blew herself up on a busy Tunis avenue yesterday afternoon, killing herself and wounding many others, Tunisia’s TAP information company reported.

The 30-year-old lady set off the blast simply earlier than 2pm within the Tunisian capital’s widespread Habib Bourguiba avenue, based on Inside Ministry spokesman Sofiene Zaag, quoted by TAP.

TAP says that eight cops have been among the many injured, and one civilian. It stated that aside from the bomber, there have been no additional reported deaths.

An AP reporter on the scene noticed many ambulances arriving to take the wounded to hospitals.
